How should I sort my trading cards for trade in?

I would like to trade in some trading cards for cash or store credit, how should I sort them?

How you should sort your cards for trade in will depend on the trading card game you are sending in cards from.  The instructions for how each particular trading card game will be listed on its relevant trade in order page.  However, the instructions will be listed in greater detail below.  If you send your cards to us for trade in without sorting them a sorting fee of 20% of the value of the trade in will be applied to your order and deducted from your total.  This fee is to account for the staff cost associated with the time taken to sort your order on our end.

Pokémon TCG:

We request that Pokémon cards be sorted by rarity then by type.  The order of the types does not matter as long as they are sorted by rarity.  The rarity symbols can be seen at the bottom left of a card.  These are described below:

The type of a Pokémon card can be determined from the symbol on the top right of the card.  These are shown below:

Reverse Holo cards are cards in which the shiny foiling of the card is around the frame and not on the image of the Pokémon itself.

Holo rare cards are cards in which the shiny foiling is on the image of the Pokémon but not on the boarder around it.

Cards do not have to be sorted by set with the exception of Champion's Path and Celebration holo cards as these are priced separately.  The set symbol of a card can be seen at the bottom left of a Pokémon card:

Celebrations 25th Anniversary Set Symbol

Celebrations 25th Anniversary cards will also have the above symbol on their card to the right of the Pokémon image.
