Bravely Default II is a role-playing game developed by Claytechworks for the Nintendo Switch. It was published by Square Enix in Japan, with Nintendo handling the release in Western territories. It released worldwide on February 26, 2021. Bravely Default II is the third game in the Bravely series, following the original games for the 3DS, Bravely Default and its direct sequel Bravely Second: End Layer. While Second was a direct story continuation from the original, Default II features a new story and cast of characters. An RPG with turn-based battles, it also contains a variant of the prior games' "Brave Point" system and collecting different "asterisks" to change a character's job class. Story: Join the Heroes of Light on their grand quest to restore balance to the world in Bravely Default II for Nintendo Switch! Lead your party on a journey through five kingdoms as you seek to return the Crystals to their rightful home. Use Asterisks to unlock jobs and abilities that will allow you to take on all manner of monsters, and be sure to use the Brave and Default commands to manage the delicate balance of risk and reward!
